1979 Chrysler 300

Sadly, another one from a Canadian salvage yard, openly submits to the elements:

I manually brightened the square portion of the photo to show why this photo was taken.
As you can see, the spring shackle has made it clear through the trunk pan. Excessive rust, no doubt.
Had Greg not pointed this out to me, when the photos arrived, I would have probably thought it was an
extra photo of nothing more than the dark inside of a trunk.
It's not enough that this rare car had to be junked.
Whoever let this one go had little, if any, sense of value.
Greg must have been shocked when he came across that scene.
I'm grateful to have been sent these photos to show everyone the grim reality.
It just turns my stomach. I'd like to turn my upset stomach on the person(s) responsible for this.
Even if it was gutted to give life to another 300, there's still no reason for this waste. Is there ?
